Simple sponge cake with apricots: it turns out lush, like a charlotte
Sponge cake is an easy-to-make pastry for tea. It is especially delicious to complement such a cake with seasonal berries or fruits: peaches, apricots, strawberries, blueberries or raspberries. You can prepare a sponge cake with milk or kefir, or simply with eggs and butter.
- butter - 50 g
- sugar - 100 g
- eggs - 3 pcs
- flour - 200 g
- leavening agent - 10 g
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the room temperature butter with the sugar until puffy and light.
2. Add eggs to the mixture and beat again until homogeneous.
3. Pour in the flour and baking powder. Mix everything with a whisk until homogeneous.
4 Wash the apricots, remove the pips and cut into quarters. Place the fruit in a mold lined with parchment.
5. Pour the batter over the fruit. Bake the pie at 170 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Done!
