Simple sausage and peas salad: no need to boil anything
Everyone is so used to the traditional Olivier that when one hears about peas and sausage, the popular salad immediately comes to mind. And it's not that quick to prepare because you have to boil a lot of things first and then chop them. Thus, the following idea might really surprise you because you can make it in 5 minutes at most.
The idea of preparing a simple salad that doesn't require boiling anything was published on the Instagram page of a food blogger with the nickname zhuravlina_cooking. The ingredients are very simple.
Ingredients:
- cucumbers - 3 pcs.
- carrots - 1 large
- sausage - 300 g
- canned peas - 350-400 g (1 can)
- dill - a bunch
- green onions - a bunch
- red pepper - 1 pc.
Ingredients for the dressing:
- grain mustard - 1 tsp
- salt - to taste
- mayonnaise - 4-5 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Cut peeled cucumber, sausage, and bell pepper into strips.
2. Transfer to a bowl.
3. Finely chop green onion and dill.
4. Transfer to a bowl and add canned peas and grated raw carrots.
5. Add mayonnaise, mustard and salt to taste.
