When you can already smell tangerines in the air, it means that the New Year is coming. So it's time to take care of the festive menu. And if you have already decided on the appetizers, we will help you with the dessert. The main ingredient in the dish will be sweet and juicy tangerines.

The idea of cooking a delicious tangerine panna cotta was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia Symonchuk (cook_julija_simonchuk). You don't have to bake anything because the mass freezes perfectly in the refrigerator.

Ingredients for the tangerine layer:

  • gelatin - 20 g
  • tangerines - 9-10 pieces
  • water - 40 ml
  • sugar - 80 g
  • creamy layer
  • gelatin - 10 g
  • water - 40 ml
  • cream - 500 ml.
  • sugar - 90 -100 g

Method of preparation:

1. Prepare the creamy layer: pour gelatin into water and leave for 10 minutes.

2. Add sugar to the cream.

3. Bring to a boil and remove.

4. Add the swollen gelatin and mix until dissolved.

5. Pour into the mold and refrigerate until completely thickened.

6. Tangerine layer: pour gelatin into water and set aside for 10 minutes.

7. Put the peeled tangerines (make sure there are no seeds as they are bitter) into a blender and whisk.

8. Strain through a sieve.

9. Put the juice (it should be about 500 ml) on the fire, add sugar and bring to a boil.

10. Remove from heat, add swollen gelatin and stir until dissolved.

11. Let cool and pour into the mold over the creamy layer.

12. Put in the refrigerator until completely thickened.

13. Decorate as desired.
