Zucchini can be used to make all sorts of dishes: pancakes, casseroles, rolls, battered zucchini, salads, and various preserves for the winter. Additionally, the vegetable can be deliciously marinated with spices, serving as both a salad and an appetizer at the same time.
Food blogger Lilia (lileklilek2) shared a recipe for marinated zucchini with spices on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- zucchini - 1 kg
- salt - 1 tbsp
- sugar - 1 tbsp.
- vinegar - 30 ml
- vegetable oil - 60 ml
- dill
- garlic
- pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the zucchini in a preferred way: slices, circles, cubes, or strips. The thickness of the zucchini will determine the marinating time.
2. Mix the chopped zucchini with the rest of the necessary ingredients. Mix well.
3. Leave the zucchini to marinate in the refrigerator. If you cut the zucchini finely, it takes only 15 minutes.
