Safe homemade marmalade: how to make this tasty dessert from fruit puree
Both adults and children will like fruit marmalade: it is tasty, flavorful, and extremely beautiful. This dessert is made mainly from juice, jam, or fruit or berry puree. Homemade marmalade is a safe substitute for store-bought sweets.
Food blogger Iryna (irina_vladimirovna_levenets) shared a recipe for homemade marmalade with fruit and berry puree on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- raspberry puree - 100 g
- cherry puree - 100 g
- apple puree - 100 g
- sugar - 250 g
- glucose syrup/honey - 60 g
- apple pectin - 7 g
- lemon juice - 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Bake apples, beat them with a blender and grind through a sieve.
2. Beat raspberries and cherries in a blender and grind through a sieve.
3. Mix everything in a heavy-bottomed saucepan and heat over low heat until warm.
4. Mix 100 grams of sugar with pectin. Add to the fruit puree, mix well and bring to a boil. Then add the rest of the sugar and glucose syrup or honey.
5. Cook up to 170 degrees.
6. When the temperature reaches 107 degrees, add lemon juice, mix well and pour into molds. Leave for 4 hours.
7. Cut the finished marmalade into pieces and leave in the refrigerator for another 7 hours. Sprinkle with sugar when serving.
