Babka is a special kind of casserole. It is very easy to prepare, as you just need to mix the necessary ingredients and put it in the oven to bake. It is worth noting that babka can be salty or sweet.

One of the culinary blogs (podomashnemutut) on Instagram published a recipe for sweet cottage cheese babka with raisins.

Recipe for cottage cheese babka with raisins

Ingredients:

  • cottage cheese - 0.5 kg
  • eggs - 5 pcs
  • flour - 5 tbsp
  • sugar - 5 tbsp
  • salt
  • vanillin
  • lemon zest
  • melted butter - 50 g
  • raisins - 100 g

Method of preparation:

1. First, you need to prepare the raisins, namely, pour hot water over and soak them for a few minutes. Then blot with a paper towel.

2. Mix cottage cheese, eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla, melted butter and flour for the batter. Grate and add lemon zest. Beat all ingredients in a blender until smooth.

3. Add raisins to the resulting dough and mix.

4. Pour the batter into the mold. Bake it at 180 degrees for 40 minutes. Enjoy!
