Recipe for placinda with cheese and herbs without baking that is tastier than pie

Placinda is a special flat pie. It is made of different doughs, including yeast, water and kefir, and with different fillings, including cheese, bryndza, herbs and even pumpkin. Placinda can be baked in the oven or fried in a pan.

Chef Mykola Liulko (mykola_lyulko) shared a recipe for placinda with cheese and herbs on his Instagram page.

Recipe for placinda with cheese and herbs

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • flour - 1300 g
  • water - 600 g
  • salt - 15 g
  • vinegar - 20 g
  • oil - 30 g
  • egg - 2 pcs

Filling:

  • cottage cheese - 900 g
  • bryndza - 400 g
  • egg - 2 pcs
  • dill - 100 g
  • green onion - 400 g
  • salt - 10 g
  • pepper - 4 g
  • garlic - 30 g

Method of preparation:

1. Mix all the necessary ingredients for the dough. It should turn out soft and elastic and left in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

2 Meanwhile, prepare the filling. To do this, chop herbs and garlic and grate cheese. Mix together all the necessary ingredients.

3. Divide the dough into 9 equal parts. Roll out each one thinly, put the filling and, stretching the sides of the dough, cover the middle with it. Roll out the resulting circle into a flatter one.

4. Fry the placindas in plenty of oil over medium heat on both sides. Bon appetit!
