Recipe for juicy stewed cabbage for patties and dumplings
Cabbage is the basis for cabbage rolls, soups and light salads. In addition, it can be deliciously stewed with vegetables, herbs and sauces.
Food blogger Tetiana Kvitta shared a recipe for stewed cabbage, which is suitable for filling pies and dumplings on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- cabbage - 1 pc
- carrots - 2 pcs
- onion - 2 pcs
- vegetable oil
- sweet pepper
- tomatoes
Method of preparation:
1. First, chop cabbage, grate carrots and cut onion.
2. Mix the prepared vegetables, salt and mash with your hands to make the cabbage juice.
3. Put the vegetables in a preheated pan and cook under the lid until the cabbage is translucent.
4. Pour oil into the pan and add bell pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
5. Add tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes. It's ready!
