Puffy cottage cheese pancakes with a secret: they hold shape and turn out golden
Syrnyky will be much tastier if you cook them with one simple secret. You need to hide a piece of milk or dark chocolate in each product. After frying, the center will spread. The curd, however, will keep its shape and will not disintegrate.
The idea of making puffy syrnyky with chocolate was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Irina Dimitrova (iriska_dimitrova). To make the dish more dietary, it is better to add rice flour instead of wheat flour.
Ingredients:
- 180-200 g of cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 10-15 g of sugar (vanilla sugar)
- 30 g of rice flour (+10-15 g for rolling)
- chocolate
Method of preparation:
1. Mix cottage cheese, eggs, sugar and rice flour until smooth.
2. Let the dough stand for 5-7 minutes.
3. Break the chocolate into small pieces.
4. Divide the dough into 6 pieces.
5. Put a piece of chocolate inside each part and seal the edges.
6. Form the cottage cheese pancakes and roll them in rice flour.
7. Fry over low heat under a lid on both sides.
