Potato croquettes with cheese: how to prepare delicious fried patties for a snack

Mashed potatoes can be eaten not only on their own but also used to prepare other dishes like croquettes, delicious fried balls with a filling. They are ideal for a snack, as well as an appetizer for a festive table.
Food blogger Oleksiy Kruchkov (kruchkov.food) on his Instagram page shared a recipe for potato croquettes with cheese, which are made from mashed potatoes.
Ingredients:
- mashed potatoes - 500-600 g
- eggs - 1 pc
- flour - 2 tbsp.
- dried garlic - 1\2 tsp.
- smoked paprika - 1 tsp.
- hard cheese - 100-150 g
Cooking method:
1. First you need to boil potatoes or use ready-made potatoes, even yesterday's potatoes will do.
2. Add eggs, garlic, paprika and flour to the mashed potatoes. Mix everything thoroughly.
3. Grate the cheese and add to the mixture. Stir.
4. Form the dough into balls. Dip each ball first in egg and then in breadcrumbs.
5. Fry the croquettes on both sides until cooked through. Bon appetit!
