Pita bread and cottage cheese pie: no need to knead and roll out the dough

A pita bread pie is a simple dish that can be prepared with various fillings: sweet – cottage cheese, berries, fruit, and nuts, and savory – meat, fish, mushrooms, and vegetables. Most importantly, there is no need to knead and roll the dough.
Food blogger Oksana Dorosh (oksana_dorosh_rezeptu) shared a recipe for a pita bread pie with cottage cheese and berries on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- pita bread
- cottage cheese – 600 g
- eggs – 2 pcs.
- milk – 100 ml
- starch – 1 tbsp.
- sugar – 60-100 g
- berries
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the pita bread according to the size of the mold.
2. Mix cottage cheese, eggs, sugar and milk. Beat with an immersion blender until smooth.
3. Add starch to the resulting mass. Mix well.
4. Form the pie as follows: pita bread sheet, filling, berries, pita bread. Repeat until you run out of ingredients.
5. If the last layer is pita bread, brush it with a beaten egg, if it is cottage cheese, sprinkle with sugar or coconut powder.
6. Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
