Pickled zucchini is a great appetizer that is suitable for any occasion. Vegetables go well with various cereals and meat. But for them to be well stored, vinegar must be added to the marinade. It's important not to overdo it so as not to spoil the taste.
The idea of cooking spicy zucchini with garlic for the winter was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Olha Obizna (olgaobizna). The proportions are for 4-4.5 liters.
Ingredients:
- 3 kg of zucchini (cubes or rings)
- 1 jar of tomato sauce
- 100 g of garlic
- 2 tbsp of salt
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of vinegar
- 0.5 cups of oil
- 1 hot pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Mix everything except garlic.
2. Boil for 20 minutes.
3. Add garlic.
4. Boil for another 30 minutes. It will make 4-4.5 liters.
5. Close immediately in sterilized jars.
