Original liver pate with jelly: the taste will pleasantly surprise you
Liver pate is a perfect quick snack for a festive table or every day. It is not only delicious but also very healthy. To make the dish look more attractive, add berry jelly on top.
The idea of making a delicate jelly pate was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Victoria with the nickname vika_tolokova23. It is delicious if served on toasted croutons.
Ingredients:
- 500 g of liver (i have chicken)
- 1 onion (larger in size)
- 2 medium carrots
- 1 head of garlic
- 100 g of butter
- salt, pepper, spices - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Put everything in the mold.
2. Cover with foil and put in a preheated oven to 175 degrees for 30 minutes.
3. Cook under the foil, then remove it and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
4. Next, put everything in the chopper (juice as well).
5. Whisk everything to a homogeneous consistency.
Ingredients for the jelly:
- 200 g currant puree (also tasty with cranberries)
- 5 g gelatin + 25 ml water
How to make the jelly:
1. Pour gelatin into water and let it swell.
2. Then melt and add to the puree (you can add 1 tbsp of sugar to the currants).
3. Pour the jelly over the completely cooled pate and refrigerate for an hour.
