Food blogger Olga Ryabenko decided to add French charm to the dinner. It was she who posted a recipe for a wonderful onion tarte Tatin on Instagram. She also added that during the preparation of the pie, the onion completely changes its flavor, which makes the dish simply incredible.
Ingredients
- Yeast-free dough - 1 sheet
- Blue onion - 2-3 pcs
- Cane sugar - 2 tbsp
- Parmesan cheese - 40 g
- Hard cheese - 40 gr
- Provencal herbs
- Dried basil
- Olive oil
- Thyme
The way of preparation
1. Cover a round baking dish with parchment. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with spices and sugar.
2. Peel the onion, cut it into slices and put it on the spices.
3. Sprinkle with hard cheese and Parmesan.
4. Cover with dough, tuck in the edges and pierce with a fork.
5. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 30-35 minutes.
