Oatmeal Yogurt No-Bake Cookies: Recipe for an Original Breakfast
If you're tired of the usual oatmeal for breakfast, you can try a fresh idea - oatmeal and frozen yogurt muffins. They can be prepared even if you don't have an oven or microwave. You just need to freeze them.
Food blogger Inna Levenets shared a recipe for an unusual summer morning breakfast on her Instagram page. "We're not baking anything or anyone, we're just freezing it," she joked.
Ingredients:
- 200 g instant oats
- 2 tbsp. peanut butter
- 2 tbsp. agave syrup
- Chopped nuts
- A pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp. chia seeds
- 200 g plant-based yogurt
- 100 g frozen berries
Method of preparation:
1. Prepare the base. Mix oats with nuts, chia seeds, peanut butter, syrup, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Press the mixture onto the bottom of muffin tins to form a base about 1 cm high.
2. For a sweeter taste, mix a few spoonfuls of syrup into the yogurt. Otherwise, spread the yogurt over the oatmeal base.
3. Prepare the berry sauce: Simmer the berries with a little water for 10-15 minutes over low heat. Optionally, add syrup or sugar to taste. Allow the berries to cool, then pour them over the yogurt.
4. Place the muffins in the freezer for several hours or overnight.
