Not just cottage cheese: how to make mashed potato balls
Potato balls are a very simple and satisfying potato dish; even yesterday's mashed potatoes will do. Their advantage is that you don't need to bake anything. Just fry them in a pan. In addition, these balls are delicious with a filling, such as cheese.
- potatoes - 7 pcs.
- butter - 20 g
- egg - 1 pc
- flour - 4 tbsp
- turmeric - 1 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. First, peel and chop the potatoes and boil in salted water until tender.
2. Add butter to the boiled potatoes and mash until smooth.
3. Add an egg, spices, herbs and flour. Mix until a homogeneous dough is formed.
4. Form medium-sized balls.
5. Fry the balls in boiling vegetable oil. Enjoy!
