No-sugar granola bars: how to prepare this healthy snack

Granola bars are an ideal option for healthy sweets, a dessert for tea, and a tasty snack. They can be made with oatmeal, barley and dried fruit and topped with seeds or nuts. They do not contain flour, and you can use a natural sweetener instead of sugar or do without it.

A nutritionist with the nickname Inna (inna.nodiet) shared a recipe for healthy oatmeal and prune granola bars, which you can easily make in the oven, on her Instagram page.

Recipe for granola bars with oatmeal and prunes

Ingredients:

  • banana - 80 g
  • prunes - 40 g
  • oatmeal - 30 g
  • sesame seeds - 20 g

Method of preparation:

1. Pour boiling water over prunes and leave them for 10 minutes. Drain the water.

2. Meanwhile, grind oatmeal in a blender until it becomes crumbly.

3. Add banana and prunes to the crushed oats. Blend again until smooth.

4. Add sesame seeds.

5. Form bars of the desired shape and put them on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
