Mushroom champignon paste in 15 minutes: how to prepare a delicious appetizer
Delicious homemade pate can be made not only from liver but also from mushrooms. This appetizer goes well with beans, nuts, and you can add garlic, spices, and mayonnaise for a spicy taste.
Chef Anatoliy Dobrovolskyi (dobrovolskiy_hchef) shared a recipe for mushroom pate with champignons on his Instagram page, which can be eaten during Lent.
Ingredients:
- champignons - 800 g
- walnuts - 150 g
- garlic - 6 cloves
- salt, pepper
- herbs and bread for serving
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the champignons and fry them in a pan until the liquid has completely evaporated. Transfer to a blender.
2. Lightly fry the walnuts in a frying pan. Add to the mushrooms.
3. Add the peeled garlic and spices. Whisk everything until smooth.
4. Serve with bread and sprinkle with herbs.
