Muffins are a very versatile dessert that can be filled with many of your favorite ingredients: fruit, chocolate, and nuts. And such pastries are prepared very quickly. The main thing is to make a fluffy and soft batter that just melts in your mouth. Butter and sour cream are perfect for this.
The idea of making delicate milk muffins with sour cream was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Oksana Pidhaina (ksy.gapin). It is very important to beat the eggs with sugar well.
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 200 g of sugar
- 100 g of butter
- 5 tbsp of sour cream
- vanilla
- flour - 2 cups (focus on the density)
- 2 tsp. baking powder
Method of preparation:
1. Beat eggs with sugar. Add soft butter and sour cream and mix well.
2. Next, add flour and baking powder.
3. At the end, you can add whatever you like to the muffins: lemon zest, raisins, candied fruit, berries, or leave them as they are.
4. Fill the molds 2/3 full.
5. Put in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees (until golden brown).
