Instead of regular cutlets or pasta with minced meat, you can make cannelloni. Despite the sophisticated name, the dish is quite simple. You just need to fill store-bought tubes with minced meat and bake them.

The idea of cooking cannelloni with minced meat for lunch was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Maria Shemet (mashashemet). The sauce will add a special juiciness.

Ingredients:

  • cannelloni tubes - 250 g
  • minced meat - 600 g
  • tomato - 1 pc.
  • tomato or sauce - 3 tbsp.
  • onion - 2 pcs.
  • hard cheese - 150 g
  • butter - 50 g
  • flour - 3 tbsp
  • milk - 700 ml
  • ground black pepper, salt - to taste
  • oil for frying

Method of preparation:

1. For the filling, cut the onion into small cubes, and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.

2. Add the minced meat, bring it almost to readiness, and add finely chopped tomato and tomato juice.

3. Stir, season with salt, and bring to readiness.

4. For the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan.

5. Add the flour and fry until pale golden, stirring constantly with a whisk.

6. Add milk in a thin stream, salt and pepper, and cook until the consistency of low-fat sour cream.

7. Fill the cannelloni loosely with the cooled minced meat (it is convenient to do this by placing the minced meat in a tight bag and trimming the edge).

8. Grate the cheese.

9. Pour half of the sauce into a baking dish (find one that can accommodate all the cannelloni in one layer) and put the filled tubes on it.

10. Put the remaining sauce on top and put the dish in the oven.

11. Bake for 30 minutes, then sprinkle with cheese and put back in the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
