Meatballs are a delicious meat dish and a great alternative to cutlets. They can be stewed, fried, baked, and added to soup. For them to have the perfect texture and hold their shape perfectly, you need to add one simple ingredient to the minced meat.

Food blogger Oksana Dorosh (oksana_dorosh_rezeptu) shared a recipe for meatballs on her Instagram page, which requires adding semolina to the minced meat – the ingredient will make the dish perfect.

Ingredients:

  • minced meat – 400 g
  • eggs – 1 pc
  • onions – 70 g
  • semolina – 2-3 tbsp
  • cream – 200 ml
  • salt, pepper
  • flour – 2 tbsp
  • butter – 50 g

Method of preparation:

1. Add the egg and semolina to the minced meat.

2. Grate the onion and chop the garlic. Add the minced meat along with salt and pepper. Mix the minced meat thoroughly.

3. Form the meatballs from the minced meat.

4. Dredge the meatballs in flour and place them into a baking dish.

5. Pour cream over the meatballs and put pieces of butter between them.

6. Bake in the oven at 160 degrees for 30 minutes.
