Liver casserole: a great alternative to pate
Liver is a healthy product, which means it should be in everyone's diet. That's why there are so many ways to cook it, such as pate or cake.
But today, food blogger Olha Ryabenko presented a completely different way of cooking liver. On Instagram, she told us how to make a casserole that is not only healthy but also very tasty.
Ingredients
- Chicken liver - 1 kg
- Boiled eggs - 3-5 pcs
- Carrots - 1 pc
- Onions - 1 pc
- Hard cheese - 150 gr
- Green onions
Ingredients for the filling
- Eggs - 3 pcs
- Milk - 100 ml
- Salt
- Pepper
- Dried garlic
Method of preparation
1.Chop the liver, onion and grate the carrots.
2. Fry onions and carrots in a preheated frying pan for 2 minutes.
3. Add the liver to the vegetables and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
4. Grate the hard cheese.
5. Chop green onions or other greens to your liking.
6. Mix the eggs and milk for the filling.
7. Combine all the ingredients for the casserole. Add spices and mix gently. Put into a baking dish.
8. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
9. Bake for 35 minutes at 180°.
