Lean potato pies with canned food according to grandmother's recipe

During fasting, it is important to maintain the right balance of foods in order not to harm the body. This is exactly what our ancestors tried to do, and a wonderful recipe for pies was born.

On Instagram, food blogger Alex Mil shared a recipe for canned potato pies that his grandmother used to make. The pies are very tasty and lean.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes - 700 gr
  • Flour - 5 tbsp
  • Eggs - 1 pc
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Green onions
  • Sprat or sardine in tomato - 2 cans
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

How to cook

1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender and drain.

2. Mash the potatoes and beat in the egg. Mix well.

3. Add the chopped onion, salt, pepper and the contents of the canned meat. Mash well.

4. Add the flour and mix until a homogeneous mass is formed.

5.Form the pies and roll them in breadcrumbs.

6. Fry in a frying pan heated with oil over medium heat until golden brown. About 3-4 minutes on each side.
