Kabob pot for dinner: an Uzbek dish made from familiar ingredients
Kabob is a dish of Uzbek cuisine that is extremely simple to prepare and consists of familiar ingredients. This way, we get a delicious dinner that doesn't take much time to prepare.
The kabob recipe was shared by a food blogger with the nickname recepti_dariko. On Instagram, she noted that the dish comes with familiar flavors, which means that everyone will like it. Moreover, it is best to use a cauldron to cook it. If you don't have one, a thick-bottomed saucepan will do.
Ingredients
- Chicken legs or thighs – 5 pcs.
- Potatoes – 10 pcs.
- Oil for frying
- Salt
- Pepper
- Smoked paprika – 1 tsp.
- Dry garlic – 1 tsp.
- Onions for serving
- Greens for serving
Method of preparation
1. Wash, peel, and cut the potatoes into large pieces, add salt.
2. Heat the oil in a cauldron. Fry the potatoes over high heat until golden brown and remove.
3. Wash the chicken legs, dry them, add salt and pepper, add spices and mix well. Fry in the same oil until golden brown on all sides.
4. When the chicken is browned, add the fried potatoes, and 1/2 cup of water, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
