Juicy lazy cabbage rolls without steaming the vegetable

If you don't have time to cook cabbage rolls for a long time, you can use the lazy option. With this method, you don't have to steam the cabbage, but simply fry it with vegetables. Minced chicken is a great choice for this method.

Ingredients:
- 500 g of minced meat (can be chicken)
- 1/2 small cabbage (400-500 g)
- 125 g of rice (raw)
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 1 egg

Ingredients for the sauce:
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 1 tomato
- 2 tbsp of tomato paste
- 3 tbsp of sour cream
- a glass of water (250 ml)
Method of preparation:
1. Fry onion in a frying pan, add carrots, and simmer for 3 minutes. Add salt, pepper, and shredded cabbage.
2. Stir well and cook everything together until the cabbage is soft for 5-7 minutes.
3. Rinse the rice well and cover with water in a ratio of 1:2. Add salt and boil under a closed lid for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and leave to stand for at least 15 minutes to allow the rice to cook.
4. Add the cooled rice and cabbage to the minced meat, season with spices, and add egg. Mix thoroughly.
5. Form the rolls with wet hands and place them in a greased baking dish.
6. Take onion and carrot stir-fry and add chopped tomato, tomato paste and sour cream for the sauce. Add a little salt, pour water and bring to a boil.
7. Pour the sauce over rolls and put them in the oven at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
