Juicy homemade chicken shawarma: recipe without mayonnaise and ketchup
Shawarma is a popular pita bread dish that is easy to make at home. It is easy to make it dietary and healthy by choosing chicken and vegetables for the filling, and replacing mayonnaise and ketchup with a delicious sauce.
One of the sports and nutrition blogs (marafon18_6) posted a recipe for homemade shawarma with chicken and healthy sauce on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet (baked or boiled) - 250 g
- thin pita bread - 200 g
- Chinese cabbage - 100 g
- tomatoes - 100 g
- cucumber - 100 g
Sauce:
- sour cream - 3 tbsp.
- soy sauce - 1 tbsp
- garlic - 1-2 cloves
Method of preparation:
1. Meat and vegetables cut.
2. Beat all the necessary ingredients for the sauce with a blender.
3. Mix all the ingredients for the filling and spread evenly on the pita bread. Wrap in a tight roll.
4. Fry the shawarma on the grill or in a frying pan.
