Juicy cottage cheese puffs: a tasty snack in 20 minutes

Homemade puffs are delicious puff pastry rolls with a juicy filling, which can be made from different doughs: puff pastry, phyllo dough and even pita bread. This is a great option for breakfast and snack, as well as a dessert for tea.

Food blogger Kseniya with the nickname kseniya.goodfood on her Instagram page shared a recipe for puffs with cottage cheese, which are prepared from phyllo dough in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • cottage cheese - 400 g
  • phyllo dough - 1 packet
  • egg - 1 pc.
  • butter - 40 g
  • milk - 50 g
  • sugar - 50 g

Method of preparation:

1. Place a sheet of dough on a surface sprinkled with flour and form a square (cut off excess dough).

2. Mix milk, egg and melted butter. Brush a sheet of dough with the mixture.

3. For the filling, grind cottage cheese with sugar. Place on a sheet of dough and wrap into a tube or any other shape.

4. Grease the puffs once again with the milk mixture. Bake at 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Bon appetit!
