Chopped cutlets are a simple alternative to the classic cutlets traditionally made from chicken fillets, often supplemented with cheese, sour cream or mayonnaise for a juicy and tender taste.
Food blogger Nika Zinchenko(nika.cook.ua) shared her recipe for juicy chopped chicken cutlets on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- chicken filet
- hard cheese
- onion - 1 pc
- mayonnaise or sour cream - 2 tbsp.
- flour - 2 tbsp
- eggs - 1 pc
- spices
Method of cooking:
1. Cut fillet into small cubes.
2. Grate onion and cheese to the fillets.
3. Add flour, mayonnaise, spices and egg. Mix thoroughly.
4. Spoon the resulting mass onto a frying pan and fry the cutlets.
A few tips:
- The finer you cut the fillets, the tastier and more tender the cutlets will be. To do this, you can put the fillets in the freezer for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Do not spare the eggs if you want the cutlets to hold their shape and not fall apart. Use about 2 eggs per 1 kg of fillet.
- Approximate frying time for chopped cutlets is 5 minutes on both sides. And to make them juicier and not stick, you do not need to fry them on high heat.
