Instead of the usual meatballs and cutlets, you can make juicy kruchenyky. The base is made of pounded pork pieces, in which you need to wrap the filling. The meat is very soft and juicy. This dish is the perfect "friend" for potatoes.
The idea of making kruchenyky stuffed with sour cream sauce was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Iryna Dmitrova (iriska_dimitrova). It can be served on a festive table.
Ingredients:
- 700 g of boneless pork tenderloin
- 2-3 tbsp. l. oil
Ingredients for the filling:
- 1 medium onion
- 300 g of mushrooms
- 70 g of hard cheese
- parsley
Ingredients for the sauce:
- 200 g sour cream (20% fat)
- 200 ml of water
- salt, black pepper
- 1/3 tsp. dried garlic
- 2 tsp. flour
Method of preparation:
1. Cut pork tenderloin into slices about 1 cm thick. Pound well on both sides and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
2. For the filling, cut mushrooms into small cubes.
3. Heat a frying pan with oil and stew the mushrooms until all the moisture has evaporated.
4. Add finely chopped onion and fry everything together until golden brown.
5. Add salt and black pepper and stir.
6. Add grated cheese and chopped herbs to the mushrooms and onions.
7. Put the filling on each piece of meat, roll it up and tuck the edges.
8. Put the rolls on a preheated frying pan with oil with a seam side down.
9. Fry until golden brown.
10. For the sauce, add salt, black pepper, dried garlic and flour to the sour cream. Mix well and dilute with hot water.
