Pickled mushrooms are a great appetizer that will complement any festive table. Thus, it's a good idea to pickle them for the winter. You only need a few spices to make a simple marinade.

The idea of making homemade pickled champignons for the winter was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Maria Tyshyk (mariiatishik). You just need to wash the mushrooms well.

Method of preparation:

1. Boil three liters of water.

2. Add 100 grams of vinegar and 1 tablespoon of salt and boil again.

3. Wash well and put 5 kg of small mushrooms.

4. Boil for 10 minutes.

5. Strain the water and pour fresh water to cover all the mushrooms, but be sure to measure it. Then add 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of sugar + 100 grams of vinegar to 1 liter of water and cook for another 10 minutes.

6. Put mushrooms in jars. Do not drain this marinade.

7. Put at the bottom of a 0.5-liter jar:

  • 2 allspice peppers
  • 4 black peppers
  • 1 small bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar + marinade in which the mushrooms were cooked

8. You will get 10 half-liter jars.

9. Sterilize for 15 minutes and close.
