How to make perfect poached eggs without vinegar: the easiest way
There are many variations of poached eggs, but in fact, this dish requires only two ingredients. In addition, this list does not include vinegar, which is added quite often. This is because its main function is to coagulate the protein. But there is a much simpler technology.
Food blogger mari.khomenko shared the idea of making the perfect poached egg on her Instagram page. The most important thing is to put the egg in the water at the right time, and it must be cold.
Ingredients:
- salt (to taste)
- chilled egg (this is very important)
Method of preparation:
1. Put a pot of water on fire.
2. As soon as the water boils, reduce the temperature so that the water does not have bubbles but is on the verge of boiling.
3. Add salt to taste and make a hole with a whisk.
4. Carefully beat the chilled egg into the formed hole and cook for 1.5-2 minutes, depending on the size of the egg.
5. Carefully remove and eat.
