How to make jelly candies from zucchini: healthy sweets at home

Zucchini is not only canned and pickled but also dried in the form of delicious jelly candies. The preparation of such sweets requires a few simple ingredients. Citrus fruits like lemon or orange will add special flavour.
Food blogger Tetiana with the nickname tetiana_kvitta on her Instagram page shared a recipe for healthy zucchini jelly candies.
Ingredients:
- zucchini -1,5 kg
- sugar - 350 g
- juice of 1 lemon
Method of preparation:
1. First you need to prepare the zucchini: peel from the skin, cut in half and choose the middle.
2. Cut into strips, then cubes. Transfer to a saucepan.
3. Add sugar and lemon juice. Stir and leave for 1 hour to let the juice run clear.
4. Put the pot on the fire, bring to the boil and simmer for 1 hour.
5. Next, you need to strain the zucchini from the juice and place the cubes in the dryer. Dry the vegetables at a temperature of 50 degrees for about 15-20 hours. Done!
