Gooseberry Mojito compote a very tasty and original drink for the winter. It turns out refreshing in combination with mint and lemon.
Ingredients for a 2-liter jar:
- gooseberries - 500 g
- mint - 2 sprigs
- lemon - a few pieces
- sugar - 150 g
Method of preparation:
1. Pre-wash jars and lids. Pour a little boiling water and leave it to cool down to a warm state.
2. Drain the water. Put gooseberries, mint, lemon and sugar into a jar. Pour boiling water.
3. Cover the jar with the lid. Turn the jar upside down to dissolve the sugar.
4. Turn the jars upside down, cover them with something warm and leave them for about two days. It can be stored at room temperature.
