How to make basic pita tubes: filling with potatoes and cheese

If you want to make a quick breakfast, lunch, or just a snack, pita bread tubes are a great option. You can make them with different fillings: cheese and herbs, vegetables, minced meat, or even sausages. Such lazy tubes are quickly cooked in the oven or in a frying pan.
On her TikTok page, Food blogger Alyona Karpiuk (alionakarpiuk) shared a recipe for delicious and satisfying pita bread tubes filled with potatoes, cheese, and eggs.
Ingredients:
- pita bread
- potatoes - 5 pcs
- eggs - 3 pcs
- garlic - 2 cloves
- hard cheese - 50 g
- eggs - 1 pc (for lubrication)
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the potatoes and mash them.
2. Boil the eggs and cut them into cubes.
3. Grate the cheese, mix it with the potatoes and eggs.
4. Chop the garlic and add to the filling.
5. Spread the filling on the pita bread and roll it into a tube. Brush the tubes with egg and place on a baking sheet.
6. Bake for 20 minutes at 200 degrees.
