How to make banana bread so that it tastes better than any cupcake: the secret ingredient
Banana bread is a great alternative to boring muffins. And if you add a secret ingredient to it, the dish won't stay on the table for long.
Food blogger Yulia Gorcharova knows exactly what ingredient to add. It was she who posted a detailed recipe for banana bread on Instagram.
Ingredients
- Bananas - 3 pcs
- Butter - 75 gr
- Peanut butter - 70 gr
- Eggs - 2 pcs
- Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- Soda - 1 tsp
- Salt - a pinch
- Flour - 190 gr
- Milk - 60 ml
- Mix of nuts and candied fruits - 120 g
Method of preparation
1. Mash bananas and mix with melted butter.
2. Add eggs, peanut butter, vanilla, milk and mix well.
3. Add the mixture of nuts and candied fruit.
4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt.
5. Gradually add the remaining ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until smooth.
6. Pour the dough into a parchment-lined baking dish, smooth it out, and put it in the oven at 175 degrees for 1 hour.
7. Let cool in the mold for 10 minutes, then transfer the bread to a wire rack.
