A simple egg dish such as an omelette can be prepared in a new way. To do this, use plain bread and top the omelette with cheese and vegetables. It turns out to be very satisfying and filling.
The recipe for an omelette on bread was published on one of the cooking blogs (filanna.cooking) on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- onions
- sausages
- bell pepper (optional)
- eggs
- baguette/loaf/bread
- ketchup
- hard cheese
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Chop the onion and fry until soft.
2. Cut the sausages, add to the onion.
3. Chop the pepper and add to the pan. Cook until soft.
4. Beat eggs with salt and pepper. Pour into the pan.
5. Cut the bread or loaf into portions, brush one side with ketchup and immediately put it on top of the eggs. Cook until the eggs are fried on the bottom.
6. Turn the omelette to the other side. Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Cook under the lid to melt the cheese.
7. The finished omelette can be cut into pieces and served with a salad or just vegetables.
