How to easily salt mackerel at home: it turns out to be very fragrant and tasty
If you want to pickle mackerel without putting much effort into it, you should use the recipe below.

Ingredients
- Mackerel - 2 pieces
- Water - 1 liter
- Salt - 3 tbsp
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Coriander - ½ tsp
- Cloves - 2 pcs
- Bay leaf - 3 pcs
- Black peppercorns - 5 pcs
- Allspice - 5 pcs
The method of preparation
1. Cut 2 large mackerels into portions.
2. Prepare the brine. Add salt, sugar, cloves, coriander, allspice, black pepper, and bay leaf to 1 liter of boiling water. Boil for a few minutes. Turn off the heat and let it cool completely.
3. Put the fish in a convenient container and pour the brine over it.
4. Cover and refrigerate for 1 day.
