How to cook Veal Orloff to make it hearty and juicy: just add one ingredient

Traditional Veal Orloff is a baked piece of chicken or pork with cheese and pineapple. But if you want to make a more satisfying and budget-friendly dish, use simple potatoes. The taste will pleasantly surprise you.
The idea of cooking French-style meat with potatoes was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Khrystyna with the nickname cristik_crazy_food. This dish is enough for the whole family.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 6-7 pcs.
- chicken fillet - 2 pcs
- mushrooms - 100 g
- onion - 1 pc
- sour cream - 150 g
- hard cheese - 100 g
- garlic - 2 pcs
- spices, salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into slices.
2. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Put the potatoes in layers in a greased baking dish.
4. Top the potatoes with sour cream and sprinkle with chopped chives.
5. Cut the chicken fillet into pieces, beat off and add spices.
6. Put the chicken fillet on top of the potatoes.
7. Peel and chop the mushrooms. Place on top of the chicken fillet.
8. Season with salt and pepper.
9. Wrap the dish with the food in foil and put it in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35 minutes.
10. For the dressing, grate the cheese and 1-2 cloves of garlic.
11. Add sour cream and mix.
12. Remove the foil from the dish and add the dressing in 35 minutes.
13. Bake at 185 degrees for another 25 minutes.
