How to cook pea soup deliciously: the easiest recipe

Pea soup is a very tasty and healthy first course that can be prepared in many ways: with chicken, smoked meats, ribs, meatballs, and mushrooms. It's quite easy to prepare as it can be cooked in a saucepan or multicooker. The dish always turns out to be rich, hearty, and flavorful.
Food blogger Yulia Symonchuk (cook_julia_simonchuk) shared a recipe for pea soup with ribs on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- dried peas - 200-250 g
- ribs - 4-5 pieces (already divided)
- potatoes - 7-8 pcs
- carrots - 1 pc
- onion - 1 pc
- salt
- bay leaf - 2-3 pcs
- allspice - 2-3 pcs
- spices
- herbs (dill, parsley) - a bunch
- water - 3 liters
Method of preparation:
1. Rinse peas thoroughly under cold water until they become transparent, then cover them with water again and leave them overnight. Before cooking, rinse again and put them in a saucepan. Cook for at least 1.5 hours under the lid, removing the foam from time to time.
2. Rinse and add ribs. Cook until the meat is tender.
3. Peel and chop potatoes. Add to the broth. Cook until tender.
4. Chop the onion and grate carrots. Fry and add to the soup.
5. Add bay leaf, allspice, spices, and chopped venison. Let it boil for 1 minute and remove from heat. Leave the soup to brew for 20 minutes.
