How to cook French-style fish in the oven: add vegetables and cheese
Fish is always a good choice if you want it to be not only tasty but also quite healthy and dietary. Vegetables, cheese, and savory spices will help to give it a special flavor. And if you bake it all together, you get a hearty French-style fish.
Food blogger Tetyana (tania_sheremet_) shared a recipe for baked French-style fish on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- fillet of any fish - 600-700 g
- cauliflower
- onion - 1 pc
- tomatoes - 2 pcs
- mayonnaise - 4-6 tbsp
- cheese - 200 g
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Sprinkle fish fillet with salt, pepper and lime juice. Leave to marinate.
2. Cut cauliflower into 1-centimeter thick steaks. Place on a baking sheet and season with salt and pepper.
3. Prepare the rest of the ingredients: grate cheese and cut onion and tomatoes into slices.
4. Put cheese and fish fillets on the cauliflower. Brush with grain mustard. Then put onions, tomatoes and cheese again. Make a mesh our of mayonnaise on top.
5. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 35 minutes.
