How to cook chocolate khinkali: an usual variant of Georgian dumplings

Traditional khinkali are usually made with salty fillings. It can be meat, cheese or mushrooms. However, you can also make this dish sweet. To do this, make chocolate dough and choose cherries for the filling.
The idea of making chocolate khinkali was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Valeria with the nickname yummy.lera.
Ingredients for the dough:
- 165 g flour
- 20 g of cocoa
- 100-110 ml of water
Ingredients for the filling:
- 150 g frozen or fresh cherries (36 pcs)
- 25 g of sugar
- 5 g of corn starch
Method of preparation:
1. Sift flour and cocoa and make a "well" in the center. Gradually add water and knead a soft, elastic dough. Wrap it in cling film and leave it for 30 minutes.
2. For the filling, combine cherries, sugar and starch.
3. Divide the dough into 6 equal parts and roll each into the thinnest possible circle.
4. Put the filling (6 cherries) in the center and form the khinkali. Cook or freeze immediately.
5. Bring the water to a boil, add the khinkali and cook for 5-6 minutes.
