How to cook bulgur in an unusual way without boiling
Bulgur is a very versatile cereal that is delicious with any meat or salad. You do not even need a pot to cook it. A very good idea would be to fry the product as it is much faster and even tastier.
The idea of cooking fried bulgur in a frying pan is published on the page of food blogger Polina with the nickname polli_cooking on Instagram. The groats turn out very flavorful and tender.
Ingredients:
- 100 g. bulgur
- 20 g. butter
- 1 tbsp. natural heat "10 vegetables"
- salt
- boiling water
Method of preparation:
1. Rinse the grits well.
2. Fry in butter for 5 minutes.
3. Add salt and spices.
4. Stir and fry for another 5-7 minutes.
5. Pour boiling water over the groats (the water should cover the groats).
6. Cook over medium heat until the water is completely evaporated and absorbed.
