Buckwheat is a very healthy, budget-friendly and versatile cereal that can be used to make porridge and soups. It's worth noting that buckwheat can be cooked in a saucepan, in the oven, or even in a frying pan.

Cook Ksenia shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious buckwheat with meat and vegetable frying in a pan.

Ingredients:

  • Oil – 3 tbsp. 
  • Butter – 3 tbsp. 
  • Meat – 500 g
  • Salt and pepper – to taste
  • Onion – 1 pc.
  • Carrot – 1 pc.
  • Tomato – 1 pc.
  • Water – 2 cups
  • Buckwheat – 1 cup

Method of preparation:

1. Fry onions and carrots in butter and oil, add meat and fry until soft.

2. Add chopped carrots and peppers.

3. Pour in the buckwheat, add water and simmer in a frying pan under the lid.
