How to cook braised cabbage in the sleeve: a recipe with mushrooms

Braised cabbage is a delicious and simple dish that can be the perfect complement to mashed potatoes, cereals, meat, and even pasta. It can be prepared in different ways: with or without meat, mushrooms, rice, apples and even prunes.
Food blogger Olena Mykolaivna (olena_mykolaivna56) shared an interesting recipe for braised cabbage with mushrooms on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- cabbage - 600 g
- onions - 2 pcs
- mushrooms - 300 g
- carrot -1 pc
- tomato or ketchup - 2 tbsp.
- vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.
- salt, spices
Method of preparation:
1. The recipe uses frozen mushrooms. If you use fresh mushrooms, it is better to boil them, if dry, soak them in hot water for a while.
2. Chop the cabbage and mash it with your hands.
3. Chop the onion, grate the carrots. Mix with the cabbage. Add all the spices, oil and tomato paste. Mix well.
4. Add all the spices, oil, tomato paste and mushrooms. Stir to combine.
5. Put the cabbage in the sleeve. Tie the ends tightly. Bake at 200 degrees for 50 minutes.
