How to bake pollock to make it delicious and juicy
Pollock is a very healthy, dietary and easy-to-cook fish. It can be deliciously baked with vegetables or cheese, as well as fried on its own or in batter. Most importantly, the fish is always juicy and tender.
Food blogger Tetiana (tania_sheremet) shared a recipe for baked pollock with vegetables on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- pollock - 2 pcs.
- salt, pepper
- onion - 2 pcs
- carrots - 2 pcs
- bell pepper - 1 pc
- tomato sauce - 5 tbsp
- salt for the sauce - 0.5 tsp
- sugar for the sauce - 0.5 tsp
- allspice - 5 pcs
- water - 100 ml
Method of preparation:
1. Clean the fish and cut into portions. Season with salt and pepper.
2. Roll in flour and fry until lightly golden brown.
3. Cut the onion into quarter rings. Fry until transparent.
4. Cut the carrots into strips, add to the onions and fry for another 5-6 minutes.
5. Cut bell pepper into strips and fry for 5 minutes.
6. Add tomato sauce, salt, sugar, allspice to the vegetables and simmer for a few more minutes.
7. Put the vegetables and fish in layers in the baking dish. Continue until you run out of ingredients.
8. Cover with foil and bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
