How to bake cold boiled pork for Easter at home: it will turn out very soft and juicy
Cold boiled pork is one of the traditional holiday dishes in Ukraine. This meat is always prepared at home, choosing the best piece of pork. It is always stuffed with garlic to add flavor and juiciness.
The idea of cooking homemade baked pork for Easter was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Anastasia with the nickname nisenitnitsia. It is important to add a lot of spices.
Ingredients:
- pork neck - 1.5 kg.
- water - 1.5 liters
- salt - 3 tbsp
- carrots - 1 pc.
- garlic - 1 head
- hot mustard
- French mustard
- black pepper
- smoked paprika
- spices for meat
Method of preparation:
1. Soak the meat in brine in the refrigerator for 8 hours (or overnight).
2. Wipe and stuff with carrot and garlic.
3. Smear with two kinds of mustard and spices.
4. Leave to marinate at room temperature for 2 hours.
5. Then bake in the oven at 160 degrees for an hour.
6. Then reduce to 120 degrees and cook for another 50 minutes.
7. Then open the baking sleeve and cook at 200 degrees until golden brown, periodically pouring the juice that has been released over.
