Homemade sausages in dough: a recipe for the simplest dough without yeast
Homemade sausages in dough is a dish for all occasions that is easy to prepare at home. It is made from different types of dough – ready-made puff pastry, yeast, or cheese, or used as an alternative to bread or even batter.
One of the culinary blogs (kholodkova_gotue) published a recipe for homemade sausages in dough on Instagram. They are extremely easy to prepare because the dish is based on universal cheese dough without yeast.
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese – 200 g
- sour cream – 1 tbsp.
- egg – 3 pcs. (2 pcs. in the dough, 1 pcs. for greasing)
- salt – 1/2 tsp.
- baking powder – 1/2 tsp.
- flour – 1 glass
- sausages – 12 pcs.
Method of preparation:
1. Mix cottage cheese, eggs, sour cream, salt.
2. Add the sifted flour and baking powder. Knead the dough, it will stick slightly to your hands. Leave the dough for 1 hour.
3. After that, take out the dough, divide it into 12 pieces, and roll each of them to the size of the sausages.
4. Put the sausage in the center of the dough and make 3-4 cuts on both sides. Cover the sausage with the cuts, forming a pigtail.
5. Brush the top with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Put on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
6. Bake at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
