Homemade salted caramel: you need 4 ingredients only
Many people cannot resist the taste of viscous salted caramel. It can be an independent dessert or an addition to ready-made dishes. It is extremely easy to make such a delicacy at home – you only need 4 ingredients.
The idea of making homemade salted caramel was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Vitalina with the nickname vitala_foodblog.
Ingredients:
- 220 g sugar
- 150 g of cream 33%
- 80 g of butter
- 2 g of salt
Method of preparation:
1. Pour sugar into a heavy-bottomed saucepan.
2. Melt it without stirring with a spoon. To do this by turning the pan from side to side.
3. When the sugar turns amber, pour in the hot cream and add the butter.
4. Add a little salt at the end.
5. Pour the still-hot caramel into a glass jar.
6. The caramel will become viscous after cooling.
7. If you don't have 33% cream, use full-fat milk. The caramel will not be as thick, but it will be delicious.
8. You can add peanuts to this caramel, if you use salted ones, do not add salt to the caramel itself.
