Mozzarella is often used to make salad or pizza. It is very easy to make this cheese at home, it takes only 2 ingredients and 30 minutes of your time. Following the recipe, mozzarella is fibrous, elastic, and melts well.

Food blogger Kateryna Vengerska (katya.vengerska) shared a recipe for homemade mozzarella made from milk on her Instagram page.

Ingredients:

  • homemade milk - 3 liters
  • vinegar 9% - 6 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Pour the milk into a saucepan and put it on the fire. Heat to a temperature of 43 degrees, stirring constantly.

2. Gradually pour in the vinegar while continuing to stir. In the process, whey will begin to separate. It should be removed from the pan when it begins to form a single lump.

3. Squeeze the resulting lump well with your hands to remove excess liquid.

4. Heat the whey containing the curd to a temperature of 70 degrees.

5. Dip the cheese into the hot whey and knead it until it starts to stretch. Form it into a circle. It's ready!
