Homemade mayonnaise without eggs: cooked with milk
Thick, tender, and most importantly, healthy mayonnaise can be made at home. Traditionally, it is made from raw or boiled eggs, with milk, mustard, oil, and even avocado. The cooking process takes only a few minutes.
Food blogger Olga with the nickname podomashnemutut shared a recipe for homemade mayonnaise with milk on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- milk - 100 ml
- sunflower oil - 200 ml
- salt - 1 tsp
- sugar - 1 tsp.
- hot mustard - 1 tsp.
- lemon juice - 2 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Mix oil and milk in a blender bowl. Beat with an immersion blender for 5 minutes. The mass should become thick.
2. Add salt, sugar, mustard, and lemon juice to the mixture. Beat for another 3-4 minutes.
3. Put the finished mayonnaise in a container and store in the refrigerator.
